Dinner a la Sasja

Tonight Sasja made, as always, a wonderful dinner.
Lerpottasill (very swedish dish!) - herring, dill, egg, red onion and melted butter. Yum!
Pasta , pasta sauce , grilled vegetables and cucumber, carrot and beetroot salad (perfectly cooked beetroot!).

Sake is definitely my favourite restaurant in Sydney. Oh no let's wait, maybe not the best all categories, but definitely the best Japanese one. Love it!

Birthday cake

Last nights birthday cake for W. His birthday was on the 21 but J and S were in Melbourne watching the tennis then so we did it last night instead. Was a really nice evening W had his favourite food - pancakes made by granpa , and for the adults J cooked his special salmon with yellow rice and lime dressing! Yum! Oh and W loooved the cake! :)

Plupp

Mum brought many things for me - for example my favourite book as a kid , "Plupp on the bird cliff". Wonderful book about Plupp who travels to the bird cliff off the Arctic Ocean to see the birds. (I'm a geek I know!)
He travels with a pet lemming and a pet stoat and together they see places, experience different climates and meet new animals. I loved it!!

After a long day walking by the harbour we went to Sydney Fish market and bought fresh fish ; Balmain bugs, cooked and fresh prawns. Nothing beats a seafood bbq!

Brunch

This morning we all went to Walsh Bay (J's work) and had brunch. Wonderful place by the harbour and super yummy food!

Then we walked all the way to the Opera House and back - fantastic views over the Bridge and the Opera House. Lovely day with fam!

One of the many perks with living in Australia is the weather!
Look at my rocket - planted seeds 2 days ago and it's already coming up little mini leaves! Exciting - we will eat salad from the garden soon!

Chicken

Last nights dinner;

Butterfly 2 chicken breasts. Marinate in garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and lots of smoked paprika powder. Season.
Leave in fridge over night or at least a few hours.
Whack on barbie until ready - serve with lovely salad of your choice! Lovely! Tip; any salad perks up with a bit of grated parmesan in it - try!
