Montepulciano

A day in beautiful Montepulciano. Lunch at grande piazza whilst listening to live music, coffee at a place with a view, saw more historical buildings than I've seen in years. Then shopped some vino before going home to throw ourselves into the pool.  It 's a hard life.....

My auntie Gunilla and my uncle Kent organised a beautiful lunch a few days.before we left for Italy. I got to see my cousins and their kids and had a lovely day in her beautiful garden. Loved every minute of it ! 

Not only does she have a gorgeous garden , she happens to be the owner of my dream house.  She has the most beautifully decorated house.  If I had to chose one house, decoration wise - that would be it.   Of course I got carried away tAlking so I only have  a few photos.....

Posh take away

Sorry I've been quiet. I've been recovering from my flu and hiding a bit. I also had a fair few things booked in that could not be changed so been recovering and then trying to do as much as possible.  

I now have south to tell you .... 

When you have a bro in law that is in the restaurant business you get posh tasks away.  The other day sis and I just could not be bothered to cook so we got food from one of Sasja's restaurants.  Ohhhhh. Myyyy. Gooood.  It was good.  So yummy.  Seriously good food...

In bed

In bed.  Sore throat , ears popping and now also cough.  Raaaah.  Today nothing happens! 

Pavlova

Cousins and auntie Anne visited this arvo.  We cooked an early dinner ; chicken and a huge salad then a pavlova for dessert.  

I'm not well and should've in bed but this was the only night we and they could get together so we did catch up.  I don't regret it -  Was so great to see them again. I really wish we could see them more often..... 

Orchids

Sis has the most amazing orchids in the window in the living room.  I've never been able to keep them very long .... Gorgeous!! 

Cold

I have cold / flu.  Not happy! Sore throat , ears popping , tired and aches.  Got to push through though, have so much on and have to look after Oliver.  Guess it issue to the fact that it is different bugs here and I'm not used to them.... I really hope Oliver doesn't get them!!! Raaaah ! 

Salads

Lunch with Sis and the smart babies yesterday.  Had a great prawn salad - yum! 

Tea House with K

Spent the day with Katrina.  We had tea, went for wlks in our old neighborhood and a great catch up with lots of talking. We also went to my favourite tea shop; http://www.theteacentre.se/

Sunday lunch.

Today Tony and Jennie and the kids popped in for lunch and play date yesterday. A wonderfully chaotic day of course with kids , food and lots of talking.  So great to see them, wish I could see more of them.....

Yesterday we went to a cute cafe (forgotten the name) and had lunch.  They also sold some beautiful cakes - hard to resist ! 

Interiors

Alingsås is a small and very cute town with a gazillions great cafes and also surprisingly enough some decent interior shops. I wish I had a container to fill and ship back to Australia......
