Illness
Oliver is poorly. Has a sore throat , runny nose and is throwing up. After 3 days of no sleep he is exhausted and very unhappy. I feel so sorry for him - and really wish I could help him....
The doctor said there is nothing to do but give paracetamol and wait for it to go. Poor baby !

At daycare everything has to be marked. I have got a pen from sis to mark the clothes. Thanks sis !

Oliver crawls!!!

Yesterday he started crawling properly ...

Oliver birthday post
My friend Madelon came to visit a few weeks ago. Can't believe I have not told you this yet , time has flown.....
Madelon and I used to work together in Brisbane and stayed friends since. We are actually even better friends now than we were on Brissie. Weird but good. I now regard her a very close friend and it was great to have her to stay.
She brought a lovely gift got Oliver. A framed 'birthday post' from the day he was born. Such a great gift! It will be even more interesting in a few years when we will look back and say 'oh i remember that song' etc. now it is all pretty recent. Still there were a few things from last year I did not remember - haha must have been the baby haze....

Out and about ...
Out for dinner last night. Started with a drink in the bar....
Then I got caught up in discussions and took no more photos but let me tell you , the eye filet was amazing !
La Grillade has been consistently good every time we have been. Loved it !

Indonesia ?
There are bush fires outside of Sydney. Relax people, no way near here so all good. Anyway , lots of smoke around and smells like a morning in Bali. Weirdly I like it. Of course horrible with fires but the smell brings back wonderful memories if surf trips , water , sun , good food and laughs.
Yesterday the light over Sydney was incredible. Can't really catch it on camera but was amAzing !

Baking
Making bread for our hamburgers tonight. Eh oh yes , homemade hamburgers of course. J is going to cook them on the barbie. We'll have them with a lovely Salad and some sauce I thought is make with yoghurt. Can't wait!!!

Package
Managed a walk to the post office with dog and pram. The dog is now lying on the floor panting - exhausted from the heat. I am excited as sis sent me all the stuff I either forgot if could not fit in my bag. Oh so nice , forgotten half of what I'd left behind. Mostly books and clothes for Oliver. Sis also managed to get 2 choccy cakes for Jonathan. Mmmm Marabou!
Tonight we are actually having Sill (herring) and potatoes for dinner. All around Swedish night tonight. Oh and to make things even better - I bought a ginger bread house kit in Ikea on the weekend. Best 5 bucks invested. A few years ago I went through the hassle of making the dough, constructing on paper and baking the pieces, putting them together and adding candy on top - only to come down the next morning and it had collapsed due to the humidity. Raaaah. This year I don't care , it is a 10 min job putting them together!

Luckily the house is cool. Downstairs that is. Up here it is veeeeery hot.
In Oliver's room 21.4 still at 3.30 pm - so a good sign for summer ...
Have had all windows and doors closed all day which helps enormously. So from now on no open windows I guess...
Had 2 meetings re work today. Both useless. However was treated to breakkie and coffees in Paddington. Not a bad morning after all hehe.

Breakfast this morning.
Breakfast in Bondi at Luke and Mia's place. Fresh and wonderful breakfast on their patio , lots of laughs and giggles. Plus very happy babies playing on the floor. Nice Sunday morning !!
