I love it when you order something online and it comes in a cute package like this one.  All pimped out for Christmas - nice ! 

Sångpåse

Oliver got a cute sångpåse (bag with songs ?) for his birthday.  Basically the bag is filled with little animals and other things ( in teddy material ) that you associate with a song and then you sing together. For example there is a sheep in there so 'ba ba black sheep' etc.  Oliver loves it and we play all the time.  We have the Swedish version with a squirrel (ekorrn' satt i granen) and a cat (Lille katt) etc.  The English version has a teapot etc. Isn't it just a great idea? So simple and the kids love it!!!

My herbs are doing well at the moment.  The mix we've had lately - of torrential rain and loads of sunlight is great for them!!

Sarnie's birthday

Yesterday we went to Dee Why to see Amy and Ian ( Sarnie ) for Sarnie's birthday. Was a lovely day hanging out in the back garden. Good food (over night cooked in slow cooker - ) mexikan spiced  pork - and margaritas !  Happy birthday Sarnie !!

And had to put in a photo of a crawling Oliver , ever so trendy in nice shirt from HM and jeans shorts from 'Ollie's Place'.  ( yes the brand is called Ollie's place !! )

I'm back !

After nearly a month we're on the mend! 

Oliver started day care and has been ill ever since 25 oct really. Last week was horrendous with fevers over 40 and cough. Now after 7 days of antibiotics he is perking up ! I'm keeping him home this week to get him strong and well before he heads back to day care! 

Today he is so well we decided to pop out for lunch!!! We're at STORE just around the corner from us. Great cafe and very child friendly ! 

I brought lunch for Oliver and I had a lovely chicken salad with feta , pear and roasted walnuts. Delicious! 

So nice to be out again, we have been stuck inside for ages it feels like.  

Ps note the ikea antilop baby high chair that they have here like everywhere in the world heheh. 

  

Oh oh

We are still ill in this house. We keep passing it to each other I think.  Oliver hasn't slept a whole night for nearly 3 weeks and we are a ll exhausted. I will be back with news when we get better ....
