Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny (Lis) was very generous this year and got us a jar from Georg Jensen. (The man I secretly love!) Very happy this morning, it is so gorgeous!

Also lots of nice chocolate from Haigs (the blue egg) and less fancy chocolate from me (the yellow egg).

Framed Oliver...

When OLiver was born we got this poster from Caroline, Frank and little Teddy. Very nice pressie all the way from the UK. (They don't do this kind of thing here...)

SEED vs POP

As you all know, my favorite baby clothes shops are ;
POP in Sweden
The White Company in the UK and
SEED in Australia

Let's talk about SEED and Polarn o Pyret (POP) for a second.

They both sell gorgeous baby clothes.
They are both similar expense wise.

Now SEED makes clothes that needs to be washed in 30 degrees (or by hand) (which btw I never do) and that can't be tumble dried. WHO makes baby clothes that needs to be washed in 30 degrees and not tumble dried?? It is just madness. Do they not know what babies do in their pants?

POP makes clothes that can be washed in 60 degrees and tumble dried. THANK you POP!

I have also noticed that the quality of SEED is not at all as good as POP.
ALL my POP clothes look exactly the same as they did when they were new, even if they've been washed many times. My SEED clothes don't!

Maybe I will abandon SEED as my favourite Australian baby shop after all.....

Puree

Forgot to tell you.... Earlier on this week I did some puree for Oliver. He is now having baby rice for breakkie, fruit puree at lunch and baby rice at night. All after milk of course.
I am using AB Karmel's book, it's brilliant. I even have some frozen in the ice cube containers I bought the other day.

Oliver loved the apple puree and was happy eating it (laughing), however he got a nasty rash on his head and face afterwards. It lasted for about 20 min then all gone... Hope he is not allergic to apples! Will try again soon...

Taste of Sydney

Local currency at Taste is crowns'. 

Went to Taste of Sydney today with Nana. Always fun, well organised and lots of yummy things ! We ate ourselves around and if one wanted to (we concentrated on the food!), one could have drunk a lot of wine as well. All the big names in food and wine were there.
Right up my strasse!
Had lots of fun and laughs with N and I am still full haha!

Joys of dog ownership

Frida just did something she has never done before....

I go downstairs from putting O to bed to find Frida has broken into the bin I (stupidly) hung on the side as I cleaned the proper bin outside. So there is rubbish everywhere and of course yummy stuff like an empty package from the mince etc. Yum for dogs! Not happy dog owner...

Two things;
1. Never leave the bin hanging, always put normal bin back and use that!
2. Never be surprised by your dogs behaviour....
