Busy day

This is how I spend my days.... NOT!!

Frida is delivered to auntie Leigh in posh Paddington for the weekend. I drove in and back this morning - there was an accident so took me forever! (2 hours) 

Now feet done then I'm off to leave dry cleaning for my man, fill up car, last minute shopping, pack for the whole family, hang out washing, clear up the house, water all plants and lawn ( 31 degrees all weekend) - then it will be time to pick up Oliver from day care.... 

Who said house wifing was relaxing?

Sore throat

I'm not feeling great. Sore throat , aches and sneezes... Really hope I don't get the flu! 

They will finish the living room at the back tomorrow and it will be ready to paint then. It will look fabulous when done! Woohoo! 

Oliver has a heat rash at the moment on his upper body. Poor munchkin. I am also wondering if he is sensitive to the sunscreen as I keep having to put it on and I think his skin gets irritated. Will try new sunscreen immediately to see if helps ....

Morning walk

Lovely ( and hot! ) morning bush walk the whole fam. We stopped at the creek for water for F and a snack. Frida had a swim!  Then to cafe Imbue for coffee. Nice ! 

Sri Lankan chicken curry

After hours of sweating in the kitchen ( curry from scratch!) J is serving me this gorgeous curry. Looks fabulous ! Can't wait to dig in...

No idea what kind of tree/bush this purple one is and was thinking getting rid of it when we landscape the garden.  

I have now managed to resuscitate an almost dead tree to actually flower.

9 degrees

If was 9 degrees yesterday. Yes - 9 degrees!!!! 

I had thd fire roaring and made Jamie Oliver stew (4h in oven) for dinner.  Cozy night in front of the fire!

Me : do you need anything from the shops ? 

Him : Branston Pickle  

Not steaks, shaving gel, bananas or anything else super essential...

So we are going to survive the week.  I've got Branston ! 

Boys

We had such a lovely Sunday at Church Point , we loved it and will be coming back again. Both J and O played in the sand and it was warm and sunny. A good way to ' start ' the week.  

Winter?

It's 14 degrees again. Winter is back ones more before Summer arrives.... 

The tree

Love the tree in front of our house. Especially in spring when the first leaves appear. Lovely ! 

Dishwasher

Forgotten to tell you about the new dishwasher.  The old one was still under warranty and when it died  got this new one.  They don't make our oldies elm anymore so I got the newer model. 

Much better than the old one and better looking !

Excursion

At church point at pittwater.  So beautiful ! 

Run

Went for a run with Frida in the foredt. Loooove springtime , it's warmer and everyone ( at least I do) gets extra energy. 

Frankie

Frankie turned 3 today and Oliver and I went to her birthday party this morning.  

PeppA Pig is her fave so I bought her a clock. She loved it ! 

They all ran around like mad hatters at the play ground and Oliver was very excited and happy.

In my opinion he can go away for business more often if he brings me presents back hehe...
