Today is the day

Today is a very special day ! Jonathan's birthday today wooohooo!!!

We started the day with breakfast in bed and pressies.  At work they made a big fuzz and now they have taken him out yo lunch. Lovely! Tonight Tetsuya's for dinner.  Can't wait!  

1st of advent and decorations

This arvo we decided to put all the Christmas decorations up and get in the mood. We started with the Christmas cards. 30 of them. Oh yes, all done and can be sent off this week.  Phew! One less thing to do.... ! 

Then to the fun part; decorations.... 

I created a new type of candle holder for the 4 advents in December. I'm very happy with it to be honest. Really cute in the end on my green plate with 4 angels...  Today is first of advent so the first candle is lit!! Cosy evening! 

Since we live in the heat I decided ( last year) to get a tree in drift wood.  (A real tree would possibly last a week!) So we decorated the tree today and it is in front of the fire. Nice! 

The house is now full of little decorations here and there.  Love it! 

Jon decided the deer had to have tinsel so now he has.....  

Darling harbour

This morNing we went to darling harbour for a coffee and a look around. Nice! All the Christmas decorations are up and although it is not cold and wintery - have to say was nice seeing it and getting into Xmas mood a little bit...

J found the British Lolly shop so he was happy as Larry!
