Herbs

After a day with Claire W and the kids I went to get some herbs for the garden..
Hopefully will look stunning come summer. Right now it really does not feel like summer starts in a few days. Sky is dark and it is really cold and windy. Eeks!
Thankfully I have stocked up on yummy comfort food for us, just right for a cold winter night... J is still not well so I am looking after him tonight!

No events

Yesterday was pretty uneventful and we were both shattered. J has a cold and is not in a good place and had not been sleeping for days so was non communicative...
I did however on Tuesday make a very nice soup with beans and lots of veggies and thyme. To that I made some homemade bread. Nice in the winter to warm you up...

Crispy skin salmon

Tried a new recipe tonight , crispy skin salmon... Made in oven and was different and nice.
J loved it and I did too but for some reason the belly was not happy with the fennel seeds on the crispy skin. The baby was not a fan and now kicking like a mad person... :)

New wellies

The best sister in the whole world sent me a pressie! These fabulous wellies from Polarn o Pyret (one of my favorite swedish shops - mainly for baby clothes.)
I now secretly hope for rain so I can use them hehe...

Sunday slow cooking yumminess

Sunday evening and J has just made a 3 hour short rib meal in the oven... Oh it was just so yummy!
I love cooking something like this on Sundays, it fills the house with wonderful aroma and makes it very 'homey'.
Think this one is going in the repertoire for 'Sunday' dinners...!
