Dinner outside

Friday night is BBQ night as you all know.... Tonight was first dinner outside this spring / summer.
Lovely evening , lamb cutlets on bbq, a glass of wine and good chats... 
After the day I've had it was really good to finish this way.....

Chipped tooth and 35 degrees

Not a good start of this day.  As a matter of fact - one of my worst....

As I carry Oliver to the door (we wave bye-bye to J when he leaves for work) I slip on my pyjama pants and fall on the kitchen floor. Did I mention we have tiles in the kitchen? So as a mum you do everything you can to protect your child and I hold him to the side and does not hurt him self at ALL. I on the other hand have nothing left to use to fall on as my arms have Oliver so my front teeth take the fall. Oh yes.... Quite frankly that is nothing I wish on anyone, not even people I don't like. The pain was horrendous. The dentist said I was very lucky, and that I have strong teeth. He can fix the chipped teeth and unless there is nerve damage, (he does  not know that yet) then everything should be fine. Nothing broken thank god, and I am on antibiotics and painkillers. Very painful and sensitive and at this point I am wondering if I will ever eat for example an apple. However I feel lucky anyway, Oliver is unharmed and I could have broken teeth or arms or whatever. Oh did I mention my bruises in my face ? Jonathan is now worried people are going to think he beat me up hehe...

The rest of the day (after shock, dentist etc) was spent in the garden in the pool. 35 degrees and really humid.....  Maybe we have to get a proper pool at some point after all.... !

Exhausted...

Exhausted after sleepless nights with oliver still unwell. He is hacking away all night and his cough is not pretty! Hopefully the antibiotics kicks in soon... 

Anyway I am exhausted and fell asleep 8 pm on the sofa. This never happens! 

Have had a good day with Oliver considering... We played lots with Lego and cars of course! 

My baby

My baby mouse turned 2 on Sunday. I can't believe 2 years have passed....

2 years ago at 11.40 in the morning he came out and greeted us. He was perfect then and he is even more perfect now. I love him more than I ever thought I could love and he is truly, the best thing I have ever achieved. I am very blessed with a beautiful boy like Oliver , and a fabulous man by my side - Jonathan.

We had a lovely birthday in our back yard, lots of kids running around, cars, tents and football and of course the theme - CARS from Disney. Oliver is obsessed.  See the cake below - a Swedish gräddtårta! 

 

Lots to tell ....

Lots to tell you but my main focus tight now is getting Oliver well again. He has a really bad cold and the cough is ridiculously stubborn.... Poor baby! 

Christmas?

It's the 5th November and the shops are already filled to the brim. Christmas songs in every speaker , decorations to match.... 

Brave

The brave fence builders ignored the weather and finished the fence in the pouring rain....
