Lovely stir fry for din dins tonight. Bill Granger never lets me down... :)
2 teaspoon cornflour
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon chinese five spice
400 gr lean pork in strips
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
3 tablespoons chicken stock
3cm fresh ginger , peeled and cut into strips
1 bunch broccilini cut into long florets (I put in more than that as I love broccolini!)
6 spring onions , chopped
Mix cornflour, sesame oil and five spice in an non metallic bowl, stir to coat pork and cover + refrigerate for at least 20 min.
Mix soy , hoisin and chicken stock and put to side.
Peanut oil in wok and add ginger, broccolini and spring onions and stirfry for a few min until broccolini is just cooked. Remove from wok.
Add pork in wok and stir fry until light golden or nearly cooked. Return vegetables , add the sauce and stir fry for 2 min.
Serve with jasmine rice.
