Haha. No I'm not going there (unfortunately ) - I just wanted to show you my new candle. I am addicted to nice candles and absolutely love Glasshouse.
The Amalfi Coast is currently a favourite!

Breakfast
Breakfast with J at Passalaqua this morning. We never do this on a school day but this morning we squeezed it in. J took Oliver to dag care and I took Frida and we then met at the cafe. Lovely way to start the day.
Ps. The croissant is J's favourite vice.

Lovely evening with J with good chats and discussions. Now INXS the movie....

Got this little one from Baby Bjorn. Just so cuute!
Campos coffee
This must've the best coffee in town. Perfect. To make matters more special I have actually been to Campos. It is truly amazing to see them roasting and have the process explained. The smell of coffee beans is just out of this world.

Emma Bridgewater and shirt
Friday afternoon after a loooong week - a package arrived....
It was a gorgeous shirt for Oliver from The Little White Company and a tea towel from Emma Bridgewater.
For you who don't know; 1. The little white company is my no1 baby clothes shop in the UK. And 2. I love Emma Bridgewater and have a fair few things here from her. They don't sell it here so hard to come by.
Very excited and can't wait to put the shirt on Oliver!! Thank you Lis xx

Sun , sand and water
Spent the morning at Nielsen park! Such a fabulous place , especially for kids. It is in the harbour so less waves, got big trees for shade, has loos plus a cafe so the parents won't get cranky in shortage of caffeine.
We parked ourselves under a tree in the shade and hung out with a very happy Oliver. He loves being out and about. Packed today so loads to look at as well.
He was a bit unsure about the waves ( small ) but happy for a little splash in the shallow with me.
Glorious weather 26 and windy so not top hot. Oh I do love Sydney when it's like this. We are so lucky to live here, like a holiday on your doorstep....
If is easy to get comfortable. Sometimes we just have so much on that packing up and going to the beach seems too hard. If you have kids you know what i mean.... pack food, nappies, wipes, toys, clothes, hats, sunscreen , water, swimwear (full suit) , hat and a million other things - for a couple of hours out. Also remember being in the sun here, even for a short time is not good so it can seem like a lot of work for a couple of hours at the beAch. There has to be shade...
However We have decided we must not ever think this way... ( don't get me wrong , we do go to the beach just not enough!!! )
It was divine and such a lovely morning , we all loved it and changed the day completely. There is nothing like a dip in the sea!
Sitting here now, sun kissed and still have a little bit of sand between my toes , having a tea and contemplating over life. J is on the computer and Oliver is sleeping. What a Sunday !

The Grounds
Went to Alexandria this morning for breakkie with nana. Oh my god. Love love love the Grounds and will become a frequent guest. Can't believe I have not been before - it is right up my strasse!
It is located in an old warehouse area and must once have been very ugly. Now gorgeous and huge with many areas to sit! Speciality is coffee if course and yummy food, market, little zoo ( only goats, pigs and hens) for the kids, fabulous cubby house and play ground , both outside BBQ and fancier cafe inside , a deli from heaven .... Do I have to convince you?? Just wished I had known about this when sis and Sasja were visiting , they would have loved it!!
Anyway breakfast was really nice then a big chat before getting some cheese and head home to my boys! Lovely morning with my nana !
Love the industrial look !
Wonderful herbs everywhere , Richard would have loved it!
How cute are these herbs?? Perfect gift idea!!
Cute lamps ;
The deli is called Salt , Meats, Cheese. There were so many different types if salt it was ridiculous. Very nice , love this kind of shop.
Even the loo was cute Hehe. See below!
