60 minutes

Watched 60 minutes tonight (we missed it on Sunday) and there was an interview with a bunch of men (or shall I say boys – they were in their early 20’s) who have decided their only calling in life is to throw themselves down huge waterfalls (bigger than Niagra falls) in their kayaks! Why, one might wonder?  Just for the thrill they say. When I see things like this I wonder whether I am wonderfully normal or just plain boring!

There was also an interview with Joanna Lumley - I think she is fabulous... She is so talented and has done so many things over the years. Quintessentially English she has, despite her fame, stayed in the UK and not moved to the US. I don't know why, I just get the feeling she is a really genuine person. Maybe it's her voice, when she speaks I have to listen. :)  Of course she is funny as well (and I actually mean as herself not as Patsy Stone). It was an excellent interview.
On another matter she has made a documentary that I can see over and over again. I think I have blogged about this one before but if you have not seen it, please find the documentary "Joanna Lumley in the land of the Northern Lighs" and see it. I cried, it reminded me of Sweden. Ok I know, I cry all the time so you might not, but it was really good - see it!!!
